Technovation GirlsBC Mentorship Program

Registration for the 2020-21 Technovation GirlsBC season has concluded. Please consider signing up for our Involvement newsletter to be notified when registration for the 2021-22 Technivation GirlsBC season opens in October.

Every year, Technovation Girls equips young women ages 10-18 with the skills to become tech entrepreneurs and leaders. With the support of volunteer mentors, girls work in teams to code mobile apps that address real-world problems they’ve identified. Learn more about the program by visiting the Technovation Challenge website.

As a Technovation GirlsBC Mentor you will:

  • Work with teams for 4 months, spending roughly 20 hours helping them develop their ideas
  • Supervising teams of girls as they create apps to solve community problems
  • Coordinate meeting times with your teams and meet virtually

You do not need to be a technology professional, but you should be comfortable saying “I don’t know, let’s find out together.”
