Geering Up Pro-D workshops are offered in alignment with BC’s professional development days. Join us to explore new and fun ways to bring STEAM topics into your classroom. These hands-on workshops will allow you to explore different activities and challenges all related to BC’s Science and ADST curriculum.
STEM-Ed Resource Hub
Geering Up has officially launched the STEAM-Ed Resource Hub! This online hub is a one stop shop for educators to find resources they need to deliver STEAM activities in their classrooms. The resource hub offers lesson plans, tutorials, resources, and features where you can find us at our upcoming events! The activities in this hub are related to the BC ADST and Science Curriculum. All of these activities have been tested out by the Geering Up team and have been delivered in our professional development programs.

Of course! Although the lesson plans in the hub will reference BC's curriculum throughout, you can modify the activities to fit your local curriculum.

We are here to help! You can book a time with one of the members of Geering Up’s team to work through the problem you are trying to solve. We are prepared to offer suggestions for STEAM projects, computational thinking/coding platforms, and design challenges within BC’s Curriculum. All members of our team are experienced in digital skills, hands-on STEAM activities, and building project curriculum.
We ask that you submit your topic(s)/question(s) in advance so that we can prepare and so that we can match you with the best member of our team. We may not be able to answer all of your questions, but we will do our best. Our staff are available Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We can connect over video chat, using Zoom, or over the phone.
