More STEM Resources

Looking for more? We’ve curated several external resources for parents, teachers, and students to easily access useful content for online learning.

UBC Geering Up YouTube Channel

Our main YouTube Channel, UBC Geering Up Engineering Outreach, hosts a variety of content, including informative videos about the work we do here at Geering Up. As much of our educational outreach has transitioned to online learning, this channel also currently runs a livestream science show called STEM After School. These livestreams are a way for us to engage with excited young learners through a live chat function as we discuss key terms, conduct experiments that you can follow along with, and invoke curiosity through science!

DTQC: Diversifying Talent in Quantum Computing

The DTQC Quantum Hub, a website consisting of a collection of apps relating to quantum computing, was developed to empower young people to explore a future in quantum computing. Try your hand at problems like the Sudoku Solver or the Travelling Salesperson, some of which actually use quantum computing on D-Wave’s 2000Q quantum processor to solve them.
