Calling All Parents/Guardians!

Did you know that as parents and guardians, you have the greatest influence on your youth? Parents and guardians are invited to join us in a virtual workshop exploring how you can support your youth’s journey in STEM. This event is targeted for parents/guardians for youth in Grades 8 to 12, however all parents/guardians are still welcome to attend.

In this session, you will become familiar with innovative ideas and activities to help integrate STEM into your youth’s daily life, helping them to think creatively and to create confidently. Guest speakers include engineering students & alumni who will share their experiences with you, and a representative from UBC Engineering Admissions who will explain the application process and answer any questions you may have. This workshop is free of charge and hosted by UBC Geering Up Engineering Outreach.

    In order to deliver interactive online programs, we will use UBC’s online video conferencing tool (Zoom). As this tool is hosted in the U.S., Geering Up may store or access your personal information outside of Canada.
