What are Geering Up Camps?

Geering Up camps are all about making Science, Technology, and Engineering hands-on and exciting. Each week is a dynamic mix of hands-on activities, demonstrations, tours, mentors, and design challenges. Registration for our 2025 Summer Camps will launch late February. To receive updates on our camps and camp registration, sign up for our mailing list.

ELEMENTARY SUMMER CAMPS

Elementary Summer Camps

Five-day action packed programs that will introduce campers to the wonderful world of STEM! Build, explore, and design through our camps’ interactive sessions! Offered in Vancouver, Richmond, North Vancouver, South Surrey, Coquitlam, and Kelowna.

GRADES 1 – 7

High School Summer Camps

Five-day programs for exploring STEM fields through hands-on design activities or software development. More information coming soon! Offered at UBC Vancouver, UBCO Kelowna, and South Surrey.

Offsite Summer Camps

In order to engage as many youth in STEM as possible, we run summer camps at 5 additional locations: Richmond, Coquitlam, South Surrey, North Vancouver, and Kelowna.
GRADES 1 – 12

All Girls* Summer Camps

In addition to our regular camps, we will be running All Girls* camps throughout the summer!
*We welcome trans, genderqueer, and non-binary folks.

Kelowna Summer Camps

In 2022, Geering Up offered camps for Grades 1 to 9 at our UBC Okanagan campus located in Kelowna! Our STEM camps inspire and challenge youth across Kelowna through fun, innovative, and hands-on experiments and projects.
