As a Geering Up camper your child will get the chance to fuel their learning and curiosity through various science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) topics taught in our camps. We aim to deliver STEM content in a fun way, through engaging and interactive activities and learning formats.  At Geering Up, we ensure that our campers learn in a safe environment and get the opportunity to engage with other campers. Camps are taught by instructors, mostly university students,  who are qualified to teach STEM topics and who come from diverse backgrounds. Junior Instructors are also present at our camps to help campers with activities and to provide additional supervision. Our offsite  summer camps like North Delta, South Surrey, North Vancouver, and Richmond, provide the additional benefit of allowing children to learn and participate in UBC Geering Up camps close to home and without needing to travel to the UBC Vancouver campus.
