Technovation Girls

Technovation Girls BC Chapter:

Technovation Girls is a program of global education nonprofit Technovation. Every year, Technovation Girls equips young women ages 10-18 with the skills to become tech entrepreneurs and leaders. With the support of volunteer mentors, girls work in teams to code mobile apps that address real-world problems they’ve identified.

The BC Chapter will be hosting an Infosession on November 12 2020 to brief you on the Technovation Journey and highlight all the upcoming workshops planned from January – March 2021. In the meantime, learn more about the program by visiting the Technovation website!

This program is run in partnership with  SFU’s Technovation.

* If you have a boy that is interested in similar programming, we highly encourage you to explore Geering Up and UBC Engineering events. As well, please be aware that we have an inclusive view of the word “girl” and we welcome trans, genderqueer and non-binary folks interested in these workshops.

Below is the 2021 schedule, register for our workshops as our instructors guide  you along the milestones.
