In this 6-part workshops series, we will explore various STEM concepts and learn how to incorporate fun, hands-on STEM activities in your practicum and future classrooms. You will have the chance to use various technology and coding tools, and partake in several design challenges. Curriculum connections will be made to the Science and ADST Curricula to provide well-rounded lessons. You will receive a certificate of completion for this workshop series after attending four or more of the sessions.

While this workshop is open to all UBC BEd Teacher Candidates, we think it is best suited to those hoping to teach in grades 4 – 9 classrooms.
