Pro-D Day – Coding for Your Classroom

ONLINE Pro-D Day – Coding for Your Classroom

What is Coding for Your Classroom all about?

In response to COVID-19, we are moving this event online! This event will help grade 6-9 teachers learn how to incorporate computer science and coding activities into their classrooms. Content will be focused on easy-to-implement computer science activities appropriate to the grade level and connected to the BC curriculum. We will be focusing on Design Thinking and Artificial Intelligence. As a group, we will go through some of the foundational concepts of design thinking and artificial intelligence, and then we will all learn activities that can be used to incorporate these topics into your curriculum (both online and in-person). This will be an interactive workshop with a combination of presented content and small group discussions – expect to be busy and engaged!
