Camp Programming

The grade listed is the grade the camper will be entering in the fall.

If you are registering a camper who identifies as a girl for a Codemakers or High School Camp, please select "Girls Seat". If you register anyone else, please select "General Seat". To learn more about why we hold seats for girls in our Codemakers and High School Camps, follow this link!

We don’t recommend this be done. Campers often find that our STEM camps are fun and engaging.

Camp Curriculum

No. When designing our camp curriculum we ensure that we won't use the same activities between the various themes (STEM Explorations, Maker, STEAM, CodeMakers) within the same grades.

No. As the campers increase in age we ensure that no activities that they may have encountered in their camps from the previous year will end up in the camps they are eligible to sign up for.

No. For the same camp, each week will feature the same curriculum. We would love for you to join us for multiple weeks, we just encourage you to avoid registering for the same camp multiple times. This also gives your camper the chance to try different streams of engineering through our various camp themes!

Each year our camp instructors develop an entirely new curriculum for our campers based on guidelines. Due to this we cannot provide an exact description of camp curriculum, however, a general guideline can be found in our "What types of Camps do we offer" section in our Vancouver and Kelowna pages.

Waitlists

There are a lot of kids who love science and engineering and want to come to camp!

If you want to sign up for a camp that is full, you are welcome to register for the waitlist instead. If someone in the camp cancels, the first family on the list will be contacted and offered the spot. If they decline it, it will proceed down the list until the spot is filled.

Nope! It’s free to be on the waitlist – we don’t ask for registration fees until a spot is available.

We are limited by our classroom space, so it is unlikely that we will open up any new spots or any new camps, but you never know!

Bursaries & Scholarships

Bursaries are handed out on an ongoing bases through the registration period, however, since our camps fill up very quickly, we recommend that you apply as soon as possible! For more information bursaries please visit our Bursary page.

If you are able to register for camp before you receive the bursary, we encourage you to do so, in order to secure the spot. However, if you are unable to register before the bursary, we do save one spot per camp for bursary students, so it is possible to get them into a camp that is already waitlisted.

As soon as a spot opens up, you will be able to use your bursary.
